The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center located at 515 Cortland Avenue on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend. Note the time change to this particular meeting.

Arrests:

12:15pm     500 Blk. Portola                     Firearm
A report of a student with a gun sent Ingleside Officers Naval, Morrow, Gomez, Watts, Rosales, and Lt. McEachern to a school campus on the 500 block of Portola Avenue. When they arrived several school officials confirmed the report and said the suspect had left the campus. A school official called the minor suspect who returned to the school and was arrested by police officers for possession of a loaded firearm in a school zone. The firearm was also located and seized at the scene.  Report number: 180088689

11:22am     Unit Blk. Delta                        Hot Prowl Burglary
A man at home heard a loud noise coming from the in-law unit downstairs. The victim told Ingleside Officers Vong, Trail, and Hopkins that he looked downstairs and saw two unknown men running out of the home. He looked outside and saw the suspects running down Delta Street toward Hamilton Street. The officers, after searching the home, determined the suspects had forced open a downstairs bedroom door and had rifled through a drawer and closet. It is unclear if anything was taken during the burglary. Report number: 180088350


2:13pm       Unit Blk. of Onondaga          Burglary
Another hot prowl burglary sent a different group of Ingleside Officers, Hackard and Watts, to investigate. The officers met with the victim who said he returned home to find several automatic weapons missing from a gun safe in the home. A large amount of cash was also missing along with fashion accessories. The officers determined the burglars entered the home through a locked garage door. Report number: 180332221
