The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center located at 515 Cortland Avenue on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend. Note the time change to this particular meeting.

Arrests:

10:03pm     4400 Blk. Mission                            D.U.I
Ingleside Officers Dembrowski and Smith were on routine patrol when they spotted the driver of a late model Ford Fusion blow through a red light at Mission and Persia. The officers followed the driver as she weaved in and out of lanes while on Persia Street. The officers pulled her over and noticed she had bloodshot eyes, alcohol on her breath, and slurred speech. She was asked to perform a standard roadside sobriety test and failed the exam miserably. She was then taken to Mission Station where a phlebotomist took a blood sample for evidence. After that she was transported to the county jail and booked for DUI. Report number: 180087324


10:08pm     500 Blk. Chenery                             Firearm Possession
A man asleep in a parked truck, blocking a driveway, prompted citizens to call the police. Ingleside Officers Hardy and Lau arrived and found the suspect sitting in his plumbing truck asleep. He smelled of alcohol and told the officers he was a convicted felon with prior convictions for robbery and other crimes. A search of his plumbing truck revealed a bag containing a Sig Sauer and Glock pistols. He was arrested and booked for being a convicted felon illegally possessing a firearm. 7:10pm       300 Blk. Crescent                            Robbery
Ingleside Officers Quinlan and Laoagan were dispatched to a report of a robbery. The victim told Quinlan and Laoagan that she left her home and got into her car in front of her home preparing to drive to work. After she started her car she noticed an unknown man standing on the sidewalk in front of her car. The suspect walked up to her car and motioned for the victim to roll down her window. The victim complied and the suspect reached through the window and grabbed her purse. The victim and the suspect struggled for a short time before the suspect gained control of the purse and ran away. The victim got out of her car to chase the suspect, but fell down forgetting the car engine was running and the vehicle was in gear. The car rolled a few feet away and struck a parked car which suffered insignificant damage. Report number: 180086893
