Serious
Incidents:
2:00pm 1200 Blk. Geneva Hot Prowl Burglary
A
woman at home with her daughter heard someone banging on the front door. The
woman told Ingleside Officers Grabbe and Camarra that she was afraid and didn’t
answer the front door. Next, she heard footsteps coming up the stairs to the
home from the garage. Still, she was too frightened to confront the intruder
and stayed in her room for another ten minutes. When she finally walked out of
her room, she found her safe in another room pried open and a large amount of
cash, jewelry, and identification missing from inside. The officers discovered
the thieves entered the home by breaking through a downstairs door. Report
