Arrests:
7:19am Silver &
Cambridge Stolen Vehicle
The first call to police was from a vehicle owner who saw a
suspect breaking into her son’s car. The victim called police saying the
suspect was taking items from the trunk of the car parked at Silver and
Cambridge. Ingleside Officers Tiffer and Gomez, along with several Bayview
Station units, responded and, while en-route, learned the suspect had driven
away from the scene in an older stolen Honda Accord. The Bayview officers
spotted the Honda at Florida and Cesar Chavez. The suspect was arrested at the
scene and a search of the vehicle revealed a BB gun, tools used to burglarize
vehicles, and a quantity of narcotics. He was transported to Ingleside Station
and booked for several crimes. Report number: 180024965
9:58am 100 Blk. Randall Stolen Vehicle
An unidentified citizen called police to report a stolen car on
the 100 block of Randall Street. Ingleside Officer Phillips responded and found
the 2008 Nissan Altima parked with an unknown man inside. His driver’s license
was suspended and the car he was driving was stolen three days before from a
San Francisco address. A computer search revealed the suspect was on active
probation with a search and seizure provision for armed robbery. A search of
the car turned up bags of marijuana. He was transported to Ingleside Station
and booked for the stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property. Report

12:50pm Mission &
Guttenberg Narcotics
A man walking across the street against the red light, through
heavy traffic, caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Peralta and Wong. The
officers stopped the pedestrian to admonish him for putting himself and others
in danger and during that discussion, noticed an object under his shirt. The
object was a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The methamphetamine and
marijuana were in packages in one of his pockets. He was cited and released at
the scene for possession of narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia. Report

8:51pm 4800 Blk. of Mission Unlicensed Driver
Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Bailey were on routine patrol
when they spotted the oncoming driver of an older Toyota Camry blow through a
red light and swerve around a pedestrian crossing the street in a crosswalk.
The officers made a U-Turn and pulled up behind the Toyota with their emergency
lights on. The driver stopped and the officers asked him for his license. The
driver told the officers he left it at home. A computer check revealed that to
be a lie. His license was actually revoked almost 10 years ago which didn’t
deter him from operating a motor vehicle. The driver was also on probation for
vehicle theft. A search of the car revealed a package of marijuana hidden under
the front driver’s seat. He was arrested for the vehicle code violations and
booked at the county jail. Report number: 180027160
