Arrests:There are no arrests to report.Serious Incidents:3:32pm Mission & Excelsior Traffic CollisionIngleside Officer Zandanel was dispatched to an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at Mission and Excelsior Sts. When he arrived he found firefighters and paramedics treating a severely injured victim in the crosswalk. Nearby was the driver of a Toyota Yaris. The driver told the officer that he was traveling westbound on Excelsior and made a left turn onto southbound Mission when he struck the victim, who was walking westbound in the crosswalk. Witnesses confirmed the driver’s version of the accident. Officer Zandanel issued the driver a citation for violating a pedestrian’s right of way. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
