Arrests:

2:28am       Day & San Jose                               D.U.I

A serial drunk driver, a man with four convictions since 2007 in Broadmoor, Daly City, South San Francisco, and San Francisco, who was sentenced to jail and/or probation after each conviction, was again arrested this evening for driving while drunk. He was found passed out in his truck at the intersection of Day and San Jose Streets. Another motorist called police and Ingleside Officers Zhao and Fogarty arrived to investigate. The suspect said he had drank a six pack of beer at a nearby bar that evening. His license was suspended years ago. A roadside sobriety test proved he was unable to drive safely. A breath alcohol test revealed he was driving with a level almost three times the legal limit. He was driven to the County Jail and charged with DUI. Report number: 170900128

A dispute in a bar led to one participant suffering a broken arm. The victim told Ingleside Officers Govindbhai and Cassinelli that he and two other patrons got into a dispute about who was next to use the bar’s pool table. The victim said he let the others play and thought everything had deescalated at that point. The victim left the bar when it closed and found the two patrons outside waiting for him. He said he was punched several times and knocked to the ground before the suspects ran away. The victim got up and went home to call police. Govindbhai and Cassinelli summoned an ambulance which took the victim to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. Report number: 170900140
