Arrests:

2:37am                          Out of San Francisco                     Burglary
GPS tracking led officers Dedet and Sherry to pursue a stolen vehicle.  It directed them to an address in Daly City, just outside of the Ingleside District.  This particular vehicle had been reported as involved in a burglary in the Richmond District in addition to other incidents.  The officers spotted the vehicle, which was occupied by three suspects.  All three exited the vehicle and fled on foot.  The suspects ignored officer commands to stop and initially the officers lost sight of all three.  Daly City, Brisbane, and additional SFPD officers responded to assist in the search.  Suddenly, the three suspects reappeared and again took off running, initiating a second foot pursuit.  Two of the suspects jumped into another vehicle and attempted to flee.  One of the suspects was pulled from the driver’s side of the vehicle and taken into custody.  The second suspect managed to escape and again attempted to flee on foot.  Officers caught up to the second suspect and took him into custody.  The third suspect was lost in the area.  Both suspects taken into custody were booked on numerous felony charges.  Report 170606774

9:54am                          100 blk Prague St                            Grand Theft
A call to dispatch regarding a stolen vehicle prompted Officers Naser, Mora, and Williams to respond. The vehicle was being tracked via GPS capabilities.  The vehicle became stationary as the officers arrived on scene.  They witnessed a suspect exit the driver’s side of the stolen vehicle.  The suspect turned around and spotted the officers.  He took off running but suddenly turned around and headed back towards the stolen vehicle.  In the process, the suspect dropped a key fob on the ground.  He was unable to re-enter the vehicle, so he took off running again.  The officers gave chase and were able to take the suspect into custody.  He was transported to and booked at Ingleside station.  In addition to the key fob, the officers also collected a set of gold teeth from the vehicle as evidence.  Report 170606774

10:44pm                        4900 blk Mission St                        Weapons
Officer Fegan decided to check out an area that frequently has suspicious cars and people hanging out.  He spotted a car parked in a secluded part of a parking lot that was filled with smoke.  It was also missing it’s rear license plate.  The officer made contact with the subject sitting behind the wheel, who had a marijuana joint in his hand.  A strong odor of marijuana also emanated from the vehicle.  There was also another subject in the passenger seat of the car.  The officer noticed that the passenger was sitting turned away from him in a suspicious manner, with a cell phone in his hands.  At this time, Officers Trumpp and Salazar arrived to assist Officer Fegan.  A records check revealed a name similar to the one that the passenger provided that was on felony probation.  The officers grew suspicious that the passenger had given a false name.  When confronted, the passenger admitted to his real name and that he was on probation.  The officers asked him to exit the vehicle.  When the door opened, Officer Fegan spotted a handgun in the car.  Officer Fegan seized the handgun, which was loaded, and later found that it had been reported as stolen.  Both the driver and passenger were booked on felony charges.  Report 170609364

11:30pm                        700 blk Vienna St                            Robbery
Officers Dedet, Sherry, Stoffell, and Colclaugh responded to a report of a suspicious person.  The officers detained three suspects.  A fourth suspect had fled on foot.  As the officers were talking with the suspects, four victims drove up to the officers and told them that the suspects they had detained had just robbed them at gunpoint.  One of the victims located her stolen backpack near the suspects.  Officer Hardy arrived on scene and located a shotgun partially concealed under a vehicle where the suspects had been detained.  Sgt. Dunne found a rifle concealed close to the shotgun. Officers Mendiola and Labson searched the area for the missing suspect and located him hiding underneath a van and detained him.  The victims told the officers that they were sitting in their car when the four suspects approached.  One of the suspects was holding a long gun and pointed it right at one of the victim’s heads.  The suspects demanded the victim’s personal property.  The suspects made off with the victim’s purses and backpacks.  The suspects were all positively identified and booked on numerous felony charges.  Report 170609530
