The officers found a bloody scene inside the residence, and both men had sustained injuries.  After interviewing the involved parties, it was determined that the two men had been in a serious physical altercation, with one of men hitting the other in the head with a baseball bat.  The victim of the bat assault feared that he would die after being hit.  Both men were transported to the hospital and treated for their injuries, and one was later booked on assault charges.  The victim who had been hit with the bat was listed in stable condition.  Report 170603980
