Serious Incidents:
9:10am 200 Blk. Casitas Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman woke up in her home and noticed that her lights were
out. A short time later she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She got out of
bed and yelled, “Who is it?” When there was no answer she opened her door and
spotted two unknown men running away. The victim yelled again, “What are you
doing in my home? Who are you?” The two men, now joined by a third man and a
woman, ran out of the home and got into a white van parked in the driveway. The
van quickly drove away. Ingleside officers Cvetovac, Lim, Gomez, Glover, and
Elliston arrived soon thereafter. The officers searched the home but were
unable to determine how the burglars entered the house. They did discover that
the suspects turned off the power to the home at the main junction box. The
officers found several neighbors with video surveillance and are reviewing
footage for clues. The homeowner said she was unable at that time to determine
if anything of value was taken from her residence. Report number: 170356145
