Serious Incidents:

12:25pm                           Unit Blk. Nahua                Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman taking a shower heard a loud noise coming from the lower level to her home. The victim exited the shower and immediately saw her clothes and personal belongings strewn about her bedroom floor. Her top dresser drawer was open and items in her closet and another cabinet appeared to be rummaged through. Downstairs, the woman found a door to her backyard damaged and a screen kicked in. Back upstairs, she found her front door unlocked. She called police and Ingleside officers Scott and Anton-Buzzard who interviewed the victim, and searched her home looking for clues. Report number: 170258529

10:00pm                               600 Blk. Monterey                         Robbery
Two men loading several boxes of meat and fish worth nearly a thousand dollars into a shopping cart caught the attention of store personnel. The employee notified security about the potential theft. The suspects walked to the front of the store and attempted to board the elevator leading to the parking lot. The store manager told Ingleside officers Lozano and McCall that he attempted to stop the suspects from leaving but one of the men assaulted him pushing him against a wine display. One suspect got into the elevator with the other suspect guarding the elevator buttons. The first suspect loaded the purloined groceries into the back seat of an older Volvo, which drove to the front of the store and picked up the first suspect. The car then sped away in an unknown direction. Report number: 170258961
