Diamond Heights Discharging of FirearmAn anonymous call about shell casings found outside an apartment prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Valenzuela and Chang to investigate. When they arrived the officers found eight shell casings, a black pull over hoodie, and a half bottle of water. The officers noted that there was a similar report of a shooting in the same area (see below). All the evidence was seized and taken back to Ingleside Station. Report number: 1701804058:38pm Unit Blk. Gold Mine Dr. Discharging of FirearmDispatch notified Ingleside units that “ShotSpotter” detected gun shots in the area of unit block of Gold Mine Drive. Ingleside Officers Canchola and Hoge arrived and talked to a homeowner who pointed out that the right rear window of his parked car was shattered and there was a bullet hole in one of his doors. The officers canvassed the area without finding any witnesses to the shooting.
