The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

3:00am       Unit Blk. Prospect                       Stolen Vehicle

A woman asleep in her home was awakened by loud voices and a burning smell. She looked outside and saw a double parked unoccupied taxicab in the street. Confused and curious, she walked toward her parked car and found several pieces of property she normally keeps in her car, strewn about on the street. On the sidewalk were an unfamiliar man and a woman bent down near the front of her car.  The victim called out, “what are you doing?” The man responded, “I’m fixing my car”. The victim responded, “That’s not your car. That’s my car”. The victim told Ingleside Officers O’leary-Klier and Felix that both suspects walked to the double parked taxicab and quickly drove away. Officer Felix contacted the cab company’s manager who said he would research the information and get back to the officers. The victim said nothing of value was taken from her car. A woman walked into Ingleside Station to report a theft. She told Police Services Aid Bruce a short time before she was on the #14 bus and was sitting next to her backpack. When she got up to exit the crowded bus at 30^th and Mission, the backpack was missing. The backpack contained books, her work uniform, identification, keys, and cash. Report number” 170217309
