Arrests:

2:08pm       Mission & Norton             Malicious Mischief Vandalism
Ingleside Officers Der and Marshall were dispatched to a call of a man damaging a Muni bus. The officers talked to the bus driver who told them that a suspect, standing on the sidewalk at Mission and Norton, started hitting the bus with his foot and elbow. He tried to break several windows on the bus and finally succeeded in breaking one of the back windows before fleeing. The officers took a report from the driver and were on their way back to the station when dispatch sent them back to the scene of the crime after a citizen spotted the suspect nearby. Der and Marshall found him in a parking lot on the unit block of Norton. He was placed in custody and charged with vandalism. He was also on probation for grand theft. Report number: 160895824

About five minutes later he again heard a loud banging sound at the front door and got up and saw the same suspect had kicked the door in and was standing inside his apartment.
