Ingleside Officers Young and Parker were on routine patrol when they spotted three occupants of a green Toyota parked at the side of the road. The officers ran the plates and dispatch notified them that the car was stolen from an address in Vallejo. The officers requested backup, and, with the help of several other Ingleside units, removed the occupants and placed them in custody. Inside the vehicle’s ignition was a “shaved” key used by thieves to operate a stolen car. The driver, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for grand theft, was placed in custody and booked for auto theft and other crimes. Report number: 160815054

A homeowner called police to report a couple breaking into a car in front of his home. Ingleside Officers Alejandrino and Ayson responded and found the suspects inside a green Land Rover. The suspects said the Land Rover belonged to a friend. The male suspect had a bottle of prescription narcotics, not belonging to him, in one of his pockets. In another pocket was a quantity of methamphetamine. In another vehicle parked nearby, a pickup truck, belonging to the male suspect, the officers found a 357 firearm, ammunition, and more narcotics. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for possession of firearm, ammunition, and narcotics. His companion was released at the scene. Report number: 160815935
