Arrests:
02:00pm 5000 Blk Mission Mayhem
Officers Monroe and Cvetovac responded to an assault call on
the 5000 block of Mission Street. Several Ingleside units responded to the scene
as back-up. Once they arrived, they noticed that medics were already on scene
treating a victim, who had part of a finger severed off down to the bone. The
victim, who works for the motel as a housekeeper, said that she went to one of
the rooms to see if the guests wanted their room cleaned. A male guest came to
the door and accepted the victim’s offer of having the room cleaned. As soon as
she stepped inside with her vacuum she was immediately attacked from behind.
The victim said she was struck in the back of the head numerous time, which
caused her to fall to the ground. The victim said she did not lose consciousness
and was able to see that the female guest that was also in the room was the one
attacking her for unknown reasons. During the attack the victim grabbed onto
the door frame to try to pull herself out of the room, but the female suspect
slammed the door on the victim’s hand severing her left ring finger. The
Officers went to the motel room and detained both the male subject and female
suspect, both whom were highly intoxicated. The medics on scene rushed the
victim to the hospital where the on duty physician said that they would be able
to re-attach the victim’s finger. The female suspect was taken to Ingleside
where she was booked for assault and mayhem. Report Number #160715545
Serious Incidents:
01:45am 2600 Blk Alemany Hot Prowl Burglary
A Homeowner, sound asleep at night, was robbed of several
belongings. The victim told Officers Monroe and Cvetovac that he made sure to
secure his garage at night before he went to sleep, but at 8:00am in the
morning, a neighbor knocked on his door and told him that his garage door was
open. The homeowner immediately went to the garage and found that his 60” flat
screen T.V, a tablet, a cell phone and a ring had been stolen. The victim told
the officers that he must have mistakenly pressed the garage door opener, which
was in his pants pocket when he went to sleep. Report Number #160715040
