Serious Incidents:

04:11am     Harvard/Burrows                   Robbery with Gun
A streak of good luck at the local casino quickly ended for an unfortunate gambler. The victim said he left a local casino after winning a good lump sum of cash. He left the establishment and drove home and proceeded to park his car. Before he went inside the victim went to the adjacent park to relieve himself. It was then that two suspects approached him and demanded his belongings. One of the suspects shoved a handgun directly into the victim’s chest and said. “Gimme your money!”. Fearing for his life the victim quickly handed over his wallet, which contained the large sum of money that he had won just hours earlier. The suspects grabbed the wallet and punched the victim and fled the area. Officers McCall and Lozano searched the area and found the victim’s wallet but the money was gone. They continued to search the area to no avail. Report Number #160701964.

10:45am     Mission/30th                            Robbery with Force
A Muni rider was attacked by two suspects while riding the bus. The victim told Officers Valenzuela-Rodriguez and Phillips that he was approached by the first suspect who began asking questions about the cell phone he was holding in his hand. The victim said he felt uneasy and believed the suspect was trying to distract him. Without any warning, the second suspect smashed a bottle over the victims head and began punching him numerous times. During the assault the victim said he lost consciousness and this is when the suspects stole his phone. Medics responded to the scene to treat the victim and the surveillance footage was pulled from the Muni bus which may have recorded the attack and robbery. Report Number: 160702401
