Arrests:

1:29pm                               400 Blk. Joost                       Restraining Order
A dispute involving two property owners led to the arrest of one of them for violating a restraining order. One of the property owners contacted police after his neighbor walked within three feet of his home, which is prohibited by the restraining order. The dispute involves the property line between the two homes. Ingleside officers Alday and Ali responded and viewed surveillance video showing the neighbor walking between the homes with a city employee. The neighbor told police the city inspector gave him permission to walk between the homes, along a public easement, to inspect the rear of his residence. After reading the restraining order and viewing the surveillance video, Alday and Ali placed the neighbor under arrest for violating the restraining order. Report number: 160547382

2:35pm                       Unit Blk. Liebig                         Aggravated Assault
A dispute over a bicycle resulted in a man being attacked with a metal pipe. The victim told Ingleside officers Zasly, Williams, Cvetovac, and Tien that he went to his neighbors home to retrieve his bike from his neighbor’s garage. The neighbor knocked on the garage door and waited for the resident to open the door. But, instead of opening the door, the neighbor came outside the front door with a metal pipe and attacked the bike owner. The attacker then ran back inside the home. Police arrested the attacker charging him with aggravated assault. The victim was taken to Seton Medical Center and treated for lacerations to his face. Report number: 160546801

5:05pm                           Silver & Mission                          Resisting Arrest
A stop sign violation led to the citing of an unlicensed motorist. The motorist was spotted by Ingleside officers Williams and Zasly as he rolled through the stops sign at Lisbon and Silver. The officers affected a traffic stop at Silver and Mission and asked the driver to roll down his window. He refused. The officers asked h[HAN1] im again to roll down his window and provide his license, registration, and insurance. Again he refused. In fact he refused several more times. The officers called for backup and finally, after several minutes, he complied by rolling down the window just enough to pass through the required documents. A check revealed the driver was driving with a suspended license and had a prior conviction for driving with a suspended license. He was cited at the scene for the suspension and for resisting and delaying a peace officer. His vehicle was towed. Report number: 160547263

11:23pm                      400 Blk. Sunrise                        Aggravated Assault
A report of a woman shot in her leg prompted dispatch to send Ingleside officers Villalozano, Wong, Mackenzie, along with Sergeants Ly and Singh to investigate. When they arrived they found a woman in her home with a grazing wound on her leg. The officers called for medical help. The victim told the officers that she was walking down a path near her building when the suspect approached and fired a gun wounding her. She ran home and called police. The officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest. Officers found a rifle, revolver, BB gun, and ammunition in the suspect’s possession. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for aggravated assault. Report number: 160548255
