Arrests:

4:00am       100 Blk of Coleridge                        Burglary
A woman woke up to the sound of loud noises outside her home. She looked out her window and saw a strange man trying to open the doors of her parked minivan. She ran downstairs to wake up her mom who called police. Ingleside Officers Colclough, Shih, and Sgt. Singh arrived and found the burglar inside the minivan with the doors closed. The officers ordered the man out, but he refused their several requests. Finally, Sgt. Singh was able to open one of the van’s doors and pull the man out of the vehicle. He was arrested for vehicle burglary and other crimes and taken to Ingleside Station where he was booked. Report number: 1605900456

Ingleside Officers Villalazano and Lundy, along with Sgt. Mitchell, were dispatched to investigate a collision between a Muni light rail vehicle and a Mercedes. When they arrived on scene they found the eastbound Mercedes behind the westbound LRV, but no sign of a collision. The officers attempted to talk to the Mercedes driver but he was mumbling and incoherent. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for observation.
