As the officers approached the intersection of Athens and Persia they noticed the driver of an older Mazda RX7 performing “donuts”, driving in circles, in the middle of the street while screeching the vehicle’s tires. The officers drove down Athens Street toward the Mazda just as the Mazda stopped the performance and started driving toward the officers. Hardy and Scott pulled up in front of the vehicle with their emergency lights on. The driver provided the officers with his license but was unable to provide proof of insurance. He was cited for reckless driving and released at the scene. Report number: 160376307[HAN1]
