Serious Incidents:

4:00pm       400 Blk Nevada                      Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman left her home to run to the store and came back and found an unknown man and woman standing in her living room. The startled homeowner asked the pair what they were doing and the male answered that his female companion just needed to use the restroom. The homeowner asked the pair to leave and the two complied and left the home. The resident later discovered that her keys to the garage were missing from the home and she then called police. Ingleside Officers Sandoval and McMilton arrived and the victim told the pair that she locked her gate, but left her front door unlocked. Report number: 160370365

8:22pm       1600 Blk Sunnydale                Shooting
A report of a shooting sent Ingleside Officers Marshall, Hoge, and several other units to the intersection of Sunnydale and Hahn. When the officers arrived they found a group of citizens in the street but no victim. However, a witness directed the officers to the Sunnydale Recreation Center where the officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to his back. He told the officers that he was standing with a friend in front of a nearby home when he heard gunshots behind him. They both started running away and, during his escape, he felt pain in his back. The victims said they didn’t know who or why someone was shooting at him. Ingleside officers recovered shell casings and fragments at several locations along the 1600 block of Sunnydale Avenue. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his wound. The case has been assigned to the Department’s Homicide Unit. Report number: 160370086
