Arrests:
2:20pm Mission/Silver Robbery w/Force
Quick work by several Ingleside officers resulted in the arrest
of two violent robbery suspects. It began when a juvenile, sitting at the bus
stop at Mission and Silver, was approached by two men who demanded he empty his
pockets. The young man attempted to escape, but the two robbers grabbed him,
threw him to the sidewalk and punched and kicked him several times. The
suspects then searched through the juvenile’s pockets removing a $20 bill and
ran away. The victim spotted Ingleside Officers Burke and Anderson driving by,
flagged them down and described the two men who robbed him. Officer Burke
broadcast a description of the suspects and a short time later Ingleside Officers
Campos, Hauscarriague and Cuenca apprehended the first suspect on the unit
block of Maynard Street. The second suspect was arrested a short distance away
at Maynard and Congdon Streets by Ingleside Officers Tupper, Labson, Zasley,

2:27pm 4400 Blk Mission Attempted Robbery
A man waiting at a bus stop was approached by two men who
asked to use his phone. When the man refused the request, one of the suspects
grabbed the phone in the victim’s hand and attempted to run away. However, the victim held on to the phone and
ran away from the suspects down Mission Street toward Silver. The suspects
escaped in an unknown direction. The victim called police and Ingleside Officers
Hopkins and Parker, interviewed the victim, and searched the surrounding area
