Robbery
A woman on her way to pick up her granddaughter after school was
accosted by two suspects. The victim told Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Dudley
that she exited the #29 MUNI bus at Mansell and Visitacion and was followed off
the vehicle by two young girls. The young girls asked the victim for money. The
victim said she didn’t have any funds. The suspects then asked for the victim’s
umbrella but she again refused and told the suspects that she was going to call
police. At that point the young women ran away. Report number: 160236814
3:55pm 4900 Blk Mission Robbery
A case of road rage could have resulted in serious injuries
for one of the parties. The victim told Ingleside Officers Thompson and Zasly
that she was driving into the Safeway parking lot when a parked car, near the
entrance, backed up and almost struck her vehicle. The victim “flipped off” the
other driver and proceeded into the parking lot and parked her car. After
turning off the engine she looked to her left and saw the unknown female driver
of the other car at her window. The woman punched her driver’s side window five
times and kicked her car three times. The victim rolled down the window and,
with her cell phone in her hand, yelled, “I’m going to call the police”. The
suspect grabbed the cell phone and ran back to her car with the victim chasing
her. When the victim reached the suspect’s car she opened the passenger door in
an attempt to retrieve her phone. But the suspect started her car and pulled
away with the victim hanging on for a short distance before she fell to the
ground. The suspect’s escaped southbound on Mission Street. Report number:
