When they reached the scene, the officers found a man they had seen and arrested many times before. A computer check revealed a $25,000 San Francisco Superior Court warrant for his arrest. He had also violated a “stay away” order from an address where he was found. The officers placed him in their patrol car and transported him to Ingleside Station for booking. During the journey, the suspect became violent and kicked out one of the patrol car’s rear windows. Report number: 1601713454:53pm 2300 Blk Alemany Narcotics for SaleSometimes the most innocuous traffic violation leads to a good arrest. Ingleside Officers Fabella and Archilla were on routine patrol when they spotted a white van making a left turn without using turn signals. Many times the officers would only issue a warning to the driver. However, on this date, the driver had a suspended operator’s license. He was also on felony probation for a weapons violation out of San Mateo County. The front seat passenger also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of San Mateo County. A rear seat passenger was also on probation out of San Mateo County. All three men were removed from the van and placed in handcuffs while the officers searched the van. Inside the vehicle the officers found a Safeway bag with cans of Pringles potato chips. But, inside the cans were very few chips along with a supply of methamphetamine packaged for sale. The officers also found a blue pouch containing another quantity of methamphetamine packaged for sale. The driver and front seat passenger were arrested and taken to Ingleside Station for booking. The rear seat passenger, who was sitting in the cargo area, was released at the scene.
