Arrests:
2:25pm 4900 Blk Mission Concealed Weapon
One of the easiest ways to capture the attention of a police
officer is to drive a car without license plates. On this afternoon, one
motorist caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Suguitan and Mbeleke Eteti
who found themselves traveling behind an older Oldsmobile Royale. The officers
activated their emergency lights and watched as the driver stopped in a nearby
parking lot. The motorist told the officers he left his license at home and,
instead, produced a California ID. A computer check revealed that the license
he left at home, if that story was true, was suspended six years ago. The
driver was also on parole for vehicle theft. A search of his clothing revealed
three “shuriken throwing stars”, which sharp weapons designed to severely
injure people. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station and booked on a variety
of charges. Report number: 160099888
7:12pm Geneva/Santos Stolen Vehicle
A man enlisted a friend and his son to drive to the city
recycling center with a U-Haul truck full of unwanted items. All three were
supposed to meet up at Geneva and Santos Street. At the meeting place the truck
driver went into a nearby store to buy some items. While in the store, he heard
the truck start up and drive away. He called police and Ingleside Officers
Williams and Johnson, along with several other units, responded to the scene
and found the stolen truck a few blocks away. Inside the truck were the truck
renter’s friend, who was driving, and his son. Both were arrested at the scene.
The suspect was wanted on arrest warrant for failure to appear in court. He
also had four bullets attached to his belt. He was taken to Ingleside Station
and booked for the warrant, the ammunition, and vehicle theft charges. Report

Serious Incidents:
4:15am 5400 Blk Mission Robbery
Two employees working at a restaurant were startled by a man
wearing a ski mask. The suspect, holding a firearm, asked the employees to
direct him to the “big money” in the safe. The frightened and crying victims
did what they were told and gave the suspect a substantial amount of cash and
coins before calling police. Ingleside Officers Carew and Stark responded and
broadcast a description of the suspect. Other Ingleside officers, along with
units from other law enforcement agencies have been enlisted to continue the
investigation. Report number: 160098517
4:53am 3700 Blk Folsom Burglary
A woman entered her garage, preparing to drive to work, and
noticed that someone had rifled through her vehicle. She also noticed that
several cabinets had also been opened. She surveyed her property and discovered
that her work keys and a fair amount of cash was missing. Ingleside Officers
Ocreto and Archilla responded and discovered the suspect unlocked the front
gate and entered the garage. A neighbor’s security camera caught a picture of
the suspect who was riding a hover board with bright blue lights. Report
