6:26am 1900 Blk San Jose Armed Robbery An argument between a woman, her boyfriend, and his friend resulted in an arrest for robbery and aggravated assault. The woman was in her room with her boyfriend and the friend when a loud argument broke out. The woman’s father and brother, who also lived in the home, went to investigate and found the woman’s room locked. They broke down the door and asked the woman’s boyfriend and his friend to leave the home or they would call the police. One of the two men in the room warned them not to call the police and took out a large kitchen knife and waved it at the father and son. The suspect then snatched a gold necklace from the son and during a struggle over the item, cut one of the father’s fingers. The two suspects then fled and were later arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of cocaine that was found in one of the suspect’s pockets. Homicide Some “street justice” resulted in a suspected robber in the hospital with severe injuries and his two suspected victims and their two friends in jail for attempted murder. Ingleside Officers Seaborn, Thompson, Dungca, Williams, Nasser, and several other units responded to calls of a violent assault on Leland Street. They found the victim bleeding from numerous wounds and complaining of pain. Witnesses and the suspects said that the victim was one of two men who robbed a man withdrawing money from a nearby ATM, attacking him with pepper spray. The robbery suspects escaped but one of them was found a short distance away by the robbery victim and several family members. The victim asked for his money back and when the robber refused, they physically attacked him with their feet and a baseball bat, breaking several bones and causing other injuries. The attackers were arrested and booked for aggravated assault and attempted homicide. Report number: 15076022112:15pm 4900 Blk of Mission Robbery A call came in concerning a store employee fighting a suspected robber. Ingleside Officers Phillips and Ortega responded and when they arrived they saw Ingleside Sgt. Martin had already detained a woman suspect. The store employee told the three officers that he noticed the woman and her male companion leaving the store without paying for the items in their shopping cart. When the employee tried to stop the woman suspect from leaving the store, she punched him in the face. It was then that Sgt. Martin arrived and placed the suspect in custody. Besides the items in the cart, the woman had also hidden frozen shrimp, breakfast patties, and chicken patties in her purse. She was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for robbery. 12:10am Santa Inez/Otsego Robbery w/knife Two men walking down the street were approached by two other men, one of whom brandished a knife and asked for their valuables telling them, “give me all you got”. The victims told Ingleside Officers Stark and Carew that the suspects stole cell phones and wallets before escaping southbound on Otsego. Report number: 150759309
1:05am 4700 Blk Mission Aggravated Assault A fight involving 20-30 people outside a club resulted in a knife wound for one of the combatants. Ingleside Officers Carew and Stark interviewed several participants and no one could give a reason for the altercation. The wounded man said he was injured while trying to break up a fight between two other patrons. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of a knife wound in his back.
