Arrests:10:00pm Mission/Geneva RobberyThree young men were traveling on the #43 bus when they were approached by another young man who demanded that one of the victims surrender a hat he was wearing. The victim ignored his commands and, with his friends, exited the bus at Mission and Geneva with the suspect following them off the vehicle. Once on the sidewalk, the suspect repeated his command in a more aggressive manner and the victim surrendered the item before walking away westbound on Geneva. When the victim’s reached Alemany Blvd. they flagged down Ingleside Officers Dilag and Klaib, who then broadcast a description of the suspect. Ingleside Lt. Burke spotted the suspect at Mission and Geneva wearing the stolen hat. He, along with Ingleside officers Stark and Carew, arrested the suspect. Later, he was transferred to the Juvenile Detention Center for booking. Report number: 150682415Serious Incidents:1:21pm Sawyer/Sunnydale RobberyA woman had just exited a MUNI bus and was walking home when she was assaulted and robbed of her purse and contents. The victim told Ingleside Officer Syring that three men approached her and one of the suspects grabbed her purse. The victim tried to hold on to her purse but released her grip because one of the suspects squeezed her arm so hard it caused a bruise and another suspect punched her several times in the mouth. The suspects then ran away in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention.
