districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct
criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and
support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write
reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team;

Arrests:
10:00pm Mission/Geneva Robbery
Three young men were traveling on the #43 bus when they were
approached by another young man who demanded that one of the victims surrender
a hat he was wearing. The victim ignored his commands and, with his friends,
exited the bus at Mission and Geneva with the suspect following them off the
vehicle. Once on the sidewalk, the suspect repeated his command in a more
aggressive manner and the victim surrendered the item before walking away
westbound on Geneva. When the victim’s reached Alemany Blvd. they flagged down
Ingleside Officers Dilag and Klaib, who then broadcast a description of the
suspect. Ingleside Lt. Burke spotted the suspect at Mission and Geneva wearing
the stolen hat. He, along with Ingleside officers Stark and Carew, arrested the
suspect. Later, he was transferred to the Juvenile Detention Center for
booking. Report number: 150682415
Serious Incidents:
1:21pm Sawyer/Sunnydale Robbery
A woman had just exited a MUNI bus and was walking home when
she was assaulted and robbed of her purse and contents. The victim told
Ingleside Officer Syring that three men approached her and one of the suspects
grabbed her purse. The victim tried to hold on to her purse but released her
grip because one of the suspects squeezed her arm so hard it caused a bruise
and another suspect punched her several times in the mouth. The suspects then
ran away in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention. Report
