Arrests:12:19am Mission/Onondaga Traffic Violation Arrest Ingleside Officers Jones and Wong were on routine patrol, when they spotted a vehicle behind them with the high beams on. The vehicle passed the police vehicle and stopped at a red light with the high beams still on. Officers initiated a traffic stop. The driver abruptly stopped and exited his vehicle with his hands up. Officers ordered the driver back into his vehicle to which the driver complied. Officers approached the driver and asked why he stepped out the vehicle to which the driver replied with, “I’m sorry”. Officers observed his blood shot eyes and asked if he had anything to drink. He acknowledged he had some alcohol earlier. A field sobriety test was performed. The officers determined the suspect was under the influence due to his poor performance in the field sobriety test. The victim was transported to Mission Station for further investigation. He was given a chemical breath test. The results showed that he was negative for any alcohol. The officers determined that he was not under the influence, therefore cited him for the headlights and released him. Report Number: 1506701973:05pm 30 Blk Blythedale Grand Theft Auto Ingleside Officers Lustenberger, Quintero and Sgt. Alvarez were on routine patrol when they spotted a vehicle with no license plates. They observed four males standing beside the vehicle. Contact was made with the diver and the group of men. A records check of the vehicle revealed it to be stolen out of Reno, Nevada. Officers question the driver regarding the owner of the vehicle to which the driver stated the car belong to his mom’s boyfriend. The drivers was revealed to be on parole. Contact to Reno PD confirmed the vehicle to be stolen. Contact was made with the car dealer who sold the vehicle. He told officers that someone purchased the vehicle with a fraudulent Identification. The car was reported stolen after the discovery of the fraud. The driver was booked for grand theft auto, knowingly possessing stolen property, and parole violation. Report Number: 1506715594:40pm 900 Blk Vienna Vandalism to Vehicle Ingleside Officers Vong, Dominguez, and Trail were on routine patrol when they were flagged down by a pedestrian yelling “Help, Please, Stop Him!” while pointing to a man carrying a bag walking down the street. She told officers that he broke her daughter’s car window and was also hitting all the cars on the block as he walked away. Officers made contact with the suspect and detained him. Officers spoke with a neighbor who observed the suspect hitting cars on the block and smashing the back window of the victim’s car. Officers observed the smashed window. A citizen’s arrest form was signed and the suspect was cited and released for the vandalism.
