11:15am     1300 Blk Alemany                   Hot Prowl Burglary
A husband and wife returned home from a short errand and found the front gate and front door of their home pried open. They called police and Ingleside Officer Morrow responded and found the rear master bedroom in disarray with dresser drawers overturned. The victims told Morrow that the thief stole money, passports, and electronic items. A downstairs tenant told the officer that she heard footsteps and thought it was children who live in the home playing. When she went upstairs she saw a man in the hallway she didn’t recognize. When the man saw the tenant, he quickly turned and ran away through the front door. Report number: 150600592


2:03pm       Unit Blk Bishop                       Robbery
The sale of a used car became complicated after the seller realized he gave the buyer something he shouldn’t have. The victim told Ingleside Officers Hopkins and De La Cruz that earlier that day he sold a car he owned to a buyer for $1000. Later, he discovered that the key ring for the vehicle also had keys to another vehicle he owned. He contacted the buyer who agreed to meet him and return the keys for $150. When the buyer arrived he not only didn’t return the keys but he grabbed the $150 and fled. Report number: 150600718


11:28pm     Schwerin/Visitacion                Robbery
A young MUNI rider was assaulted and robbed of his belongings. The victim told Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Grey that he exited the #8 bus at Visitacion and Schwerin with three men following him off the Muni Vehicle. The victim started walking up Schwerin toward Leland when one of the three suspects came up behind him with a gun and said, “Give me the Beats” referring to the portable headphones. Then the suspects told the victim to get on his knees and asked for his cell phone and wallet while also rifling through his backpack and taking his IPad. After getting all those items, one of the suspects struck the victim with a hard object on the back of his head. All three suspects then escaped running eastbound on Leland. The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene by medical personnel. A search of the surrounding area for the suspects was not successful. Report number: 150602350
