The victim told Ingleside Officers Shugars, De La Cruz, Paras, and Denning that he was lying on the ground in Precita Park waiting to start work at a local restaurant when two suspects ran up behind him and took his backpack and cell phone. The suspects escaped by running eastbound on Precita and then northbound towards Cesar Chavez. Officers searched the area for the suspects without success.
