Serious Incidents:

4:05am       St. Mary’s/Mission                 Robbery
A parked and dozing Uber driver was suddenly awakened by a woman staring through his closed driver’s side window. The driver motioned that he was unavailable for a fare at that time, but before he could resume his sleep time he heard a crash. An unknown male had thrown an object through the passenger window and reached into the vehicle’s glove box. The suspect demanded money but the Uber driver said “I don’t have a penny on me”. The suspect then grabbed the motorist’s shirt and started dragging him out of the car but the victim was able to kick the suspect several times forcing him to relinquish his grip. The two suspects then ran away and the victim discovered that his cell phone was missing from the glove compartment. Ingleside Officers Wells and Marshall responded to the scene and summoned medical assistance for treatment of the victim’s injuries. The officers also recovered the suspect’s hat and head phones which were left behind during the altercation. Report number: 150415056


4:50pm       4600 Blk Mission                   Robbery
A store clerk knew something was amiss when two men who had previously robbed the store walked in during the afternoon. The suspects didn’t dawdle but quickly took two cell phones and ran out of the store with the clerk and an associate in full pursuit. Outside, the two suspects were joined by an accomplice as they ran north on Mission Street. In less than a block, the chase ended when one of the suspects pulled a knife from his waistband and motioned to the clerks that he would stab them if they continued their pursuit. The clerk’s turned around and returned to the store to call police. Ingleside Officers Kerlegan and Wise responded to interview the victims and witnesses as well as gather video and other evidence from the crime scene. Report number: 150416822


9:17pm       1600 Blk Valencia                  Robbery
A woman walking home with groceries was attacked and robbed of her possessions. The victim told Ingleside Officers McMilton and Noble that the suspect rode up to her on a bicycle and said, “Give me your purse! Give me your stuff!” The suspect then snatched the purse, which was draped across her body, pulling the victim violently to the ground. The purse strap broke and the suspect took off with the purse and the woman’s groceries headed northbound on Valencia Street. The victim was transported to St. Luke’s hospital for treatment of her injuries. The loss was the groceries and approximately $45 in cash. Report number 150417977

9:55pm       Godeus/Mission                      Aggravated Assault
A young man was brutally attacked by four other men. Witnesses told Ingleside Officer Noble and McMilton the four suspects walked up to the victim and violently kicked, punched the victim as he lay on the sidewalk. After the attack, the four suspects escaped south on Mission Street. The victim was transported to San Francisco General for treatment of lacerations, a broken nose, and other injuries.
