Arrests:

6:33pm       4900 Blk Mission                      Robbery
A loud argument between a man and woman shopping for groceries caught the attention of a store security officer. The officer told the couple to leave at which point the male suspect pushed over several store displays, grabbed a bottle of liquor, and left the store without paying for it. The security officer pursued the two outside and tried to detain them until police arrived. But the suspects physically attacked the security officer and then ran to a vehicle in the store parking lot. Ingleside Officers Thompson and Ocreto were dispatched and when the suspects heard the police sirens, both exited the cars and ran away in different directions. The male suspect tried running away southbound on Alemany with the security officer in pursuit. The pair was spotted by Ingleside Officer Franceschi at Alemany and Seneca where the suspect was placed into custody. Officers Thompson and Ocreto interviewed witnesses in the store parking lot and inspected the suspect’s vehicle which turned out to be stolen. The suspect was booked for theft, possession of stolen property, and aggravated assault and other crimes. Report number: 150379800
