Blk Valley Hot
Prowl Burglary
Officer Carrasco responded to what he thought was a cold
burglary on the 100 block of Valley Street. Upon arrival, he spoke to the victim/homeowner
and realized that the cold burglary was actually a hot prowl burglary. The victim
told Officer Carrasco that sometime during the night, between 1100pm and
0800am, someone broke into his garage while he and his family were fast asleep.
The victim said he came down to his garage this morning and saw that the roll
up door was partially open. He looked around and determined no one was inside,
but found that two of his bicycles had been stolen. Officer Carrasco conducted
his investigation and determined that the suspect never made it upstairs into
the main living quarters. He also scoured the surrounding area and found
surveillance cameras in the area. Report Number: 150285382
