Arrests:

03:44am     4400 Blk Mission          Weapon possession
As the suspect peddled along the sidewalk with no forward headlight in the dark hours of the night, Officer Smith stopped the suspect for questioning.  Upon being questioned, the suspect became belligerent and argumentative, refusing to cooperate.  As the Officer approached the subject, he was able to quickly identify the suspect based on prior police contact and was aware that the suspect was on felony probation.  As Officer Smith prepared the search, the suspect declared that he had a knife.  A saw/knife with a wooden handle with an approximately 6 inch serrated blade was concealed in the suspect’s waistband.  After confiscation the weapon and bike, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside Police station for booking. Serious Incidents:

09:45pm     Alemany & Putnam      Robbery
Having left their apartment together and walking to catch a MUNI bus down the street, two suspects unknowingly approached the victims from behind, restraining one victim while the other was attacked and robbed.  The first victim was grabbed by her ponytail and held from behind while the first suspect held a hard object into her back.  The victim assumed that a gun was being used.  The second victim was immediately hit on the back of his head and neck by the second suspect, forcing him to the ground.  Once on the ground, the second suspect continued to kick and punch the victim as he proceeded to steal his messenger bag off of his back containing the victim’s property, cash and phone.  After the robbery, both suspects fled on foot.  Both victims then came to the Ingleside Police Station to report the robbery.  One of the victims was transported to Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco where his injuries were treated. Report Number 150324156

11:00pm     200 Blk Arleta              Robbery
Police were called to the scene of a woman yelling for help after being robbed of her purse.  The victim was walking in her neighborhood when three suspects surrounded her and grabbed her.  One of the suspects pushed the victim’s head down while another began to strike her in the head with open and closed fists.  As the victim was being hit, her purse was stolen from her side.  A neighbor in the area heard the victim screaming for help and opened his window to yell at the suspects. All three suspects then fled on foot to an awaiting car around the corner.  Sergeant Sullivan and Officers Lucia and Hackard responded to the call.  Officers interviewed the victim and witness and searched the area for the suspects with negative results.   No surveillance cameras were found to be in the area.  Officers attempted to track camera footage at a nearby local 711 store to see if the suspects had attempted to use the stolen credit cards but were met with negative results. The victim sustained a minor cut and a bruised knee.  Report Number 150324087

 11:43pm     1500 Blk Geneva          Robbery/Carjacking
After parking his Lexus and walking toward his sister’s house nearby while carrying his laptop, three suspects crossed paths and ‘sucker punched’ the victim, knocking him to the ground and causing him to drop his laptop.  After stealing his laptop, the three suspects jumped in an awaiting vehicle up the street and fled the scene.  The victim immediately got up and pursued the suspects in his vehicle.  He caught up to the suspects when two of the suspects exited their vehicle, pulled the victim from his vehicle and punched him in the face.  The victim was then thrown to the ground and his car stolen. Both the suspect’s vehicle and the victim’s stolen vehicle fled the scene, each going in different directions.  Officers Elliston, Bryant and Ng arrived at the scene to interview the victim and several witnesses in the areas of the robbery and carjacking. The victim refused medical attention.  Multiple units searched the area for the stolen Lexus and the suspect’s vehicle with negative results.  Report Number 150327467
