Arrests:

 

1:38pm       400 Blk Persia                 Concealed Weapon

The “911” caller said there was a “man with a gun” on the 400 block of Persia Avenue. Ingleside Officers Dominguez and Chew were the first to arrive and found the young suspect sitting on the front steps of a home next to two duffel bags. For the officer’s safety, they handcuffed the suspect while they searched him for weapons. In one of his pockets they found a folding knife. In another pocket they found a fixed blade knife and in third pocket they found two shotgun shells. In a fourth pocket they found a quantity of methamphetamine. They asked the suspect for identification but he refused to tell the officers his name. The suspect, along with his two duffel bags, was taken to Ingleside Station for more questioning. At the station the suspect declined to speak to the officers. An arrest search turned up his identification and an address nearby where he was arrested. Inside one of the duffel bags the officers discovered an AK47 assault rifle, a black handgun, a fixed blade knife, forty-four assorted caliber bullets, and two hundred seven miscellaneous bullet casings. In the other duffel bag the officers discovered various pills, seeds, and narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested on a variety of charges and booked accordingly.
