Officer Wong and several other Ingleside officers responded
to a call of an assault. They located a
victim who was bleeding from the head and facial area. The officers immediately summoned and
ambulance to assist the victim. The
victim stated that he was sitting in the restaurant when an unknown male walked
up to him and became confrontational.
The victim attempted to ignore the male when the male picked up a chair
and hit him on the head. The suspect
then left the restaurant. The victim
provided a description of the suspect and said that he could identify him.
Officers detained an individual matching the description a
few blocks away. The suspect admitted to
them that he had been in a confrontation and that he had hit the victim with a
chair. The victim identified the suspect
and he was booked at Ingleside station for aggravated assault. Report Number 150148683
