Incident Date:Sunday, February 15th, 2015The next community meeting at Ingleside Station will be held on March 17, 2015 at 7p.m. Thank you.Arrests:12:05am 30th/Mission Stolen VehicleIngleside Officers Noble and Williams were stopped northbound at the intersection of Mission and 30th Street when they noticed a vehicle, with one working headlight, squeal away from the stoplight in the opposite direction. The officers turned around and followed the vehicle asking dispatch to run the license plate of the car. It turned out to be stolen and Noble and Williams, with the help of other Ingleside officers, pulled over the vehicle and arrested it’s 18 year old driver. The unlicensed 18 year old suspect was taken to jail and booked for car theft and related crimes. Report number: 1501376584:54pm 3400 Blk Mission Stolen VehicleEagle eyed Ingleside Officer Padilla was patrolling with his partner, Officer Barajas, when he spotted a man he arrested before for auto theft standing next to a white Acura at a gas station. The officers turned around and pulled into the gas station and found the Acura, with its doors open, but no suspect. He was located a short distance away in a parking lot on San Jose Avenue. In his pockets were shaved keys used to break into and steal vehicles. The Acura at the gas station was reported stolen earlier that day from a location in Daly City. In the back of the stolen Acura were clothing, a checkbook, tax documents, and other items taken in burglary of a home on Capistrano Avenue (see case below) earlier that day. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for car theft. He was out on bail for four open criminal cases, two for car theft, one for theft, and one for robbery. Report number: 150141217Serious Incidents:1:14 pm 100 Blk Capistrano Hot Prowl BurglaryA homeowner called police to report that burglars took a checkbook, tax papers, bottles of wine, and other important items from his home while he and his nephew were asleep in the home. The victim told the officers that he didn’t hear anything unusual and was unaware of the burglary until he went downstairs and found the items missing from his office. The officers and the victim suspect that the burglars used a garage door opener to break into his home. The device was stolen from his car the previous evening when burglars broke into his auto parked in front of his home.
