Arrests:
12:38am Mission/Excelsior D.U.I
Ingleside Sergeants Turner, Smith, and Chu were returning to
Ingleside Station, driving northbound on Mission St near Excelsior, when they
noticed a PT Cruiser driving at a high rate of speed in the opposite direction.
The officers turned around and followed the vehicle as it sped through several
stop signals at speeds approaching 70 miles per hour. The officers activated
their emergency lights and siren and the driver pulled over to the curb. She
refused all requests to exit the vehicle and constantly yelled and swore at the
sergeants. She was removed and placed into handcuffs. The officers noticed she
had watery eyes, dilated pupils, and the smell of alcohol on her breath. She
refused all requests to participate in a roadside sobriety test and alcohol
breath tests. The sergeants obtained a search warrant from the judge on duty
that evening and the suspect was taken to Mission Station where a phlebotomist
performed a blood test. After the test she was arrested for D.U.I and
transferred to the county jail. Report number: 150025081
