Officers Pan and Johnson were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress.  They met with the reportee who told them that she observed a male and female enter a unit in her building which was supposed to be vacant.  She then called the landlord and the police.  Officers were told the suspects were still inside the unit and set up a perimeter.  One of the officers then observed the two suspects jump out of a window and relayed the information over the radio.  Officers were able to catch up to the woman suspect who was taken into custody, but were unable to subdue the male.  The woman was transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  Officers continued their search for the male suspect to no avail.

Officers met with the landlord who confirmed the unit was supposed to be empty.  He assisted them in making entry into the unit to investigate.  Officers located a phone and a plastic baggie containing a crystallized substance, believed to be methamphetamine.  The officers took pictures of the unit and the evidence which they seized.

At Ingleside station, an arrest search of the female suspect located a glass pipe tube with white residue, believed to be used to ingest methamphetamine.  She admitted to being in the apartment and smoking drugs while inside with the male suspect.  She was booked at the county jail at the instruction of Sgt. Sawyer.  All evidence was booked at Ingleside station and the narcotics were hand delivered to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice.  Report Number 130472753
