The suspect said, “No”, and allowed Officer Archilla to search him. During the search, Officer Archilla felt what he believed to be drugs concealed in the suspect’s front coin pocket. The suspect immediately told Officer Archilla it was vitamins. Officer Archilla asked to see these so called vitamins. After giving permission, Officer Archilla pulled out a Brown paper towel which was concealing a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine. 4:49pm       1700 Blk Sunnydale               Drug Arrest
Officers Obot and Johnson went to the 1700 block of Sunnydale Avenue on a call of a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. These officers have responded to this location many times and were familiar with the occupants who lived there. Upon arrival, they spoke with the wife who said she and her husband just got into a verbal argument. She went on to say that her husband and their kids were inside.  The officers went into the residence to make sure everyone inside were okay or if they needed help. They made contact with the husband who happened to be in the kitchen reaching into a cabinet. Officer Obot asked him if he was okay and he replied by saying the same thing, that he and his wife were just arguing. Officer Obot went to look at the open cabinet and saw drug paraphernalia. He then asked the husband if there were any other type of drugs. The husband replied and pointed to a plastic cup on the counter. Looking inside, Officer Obot found a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine. The husband took responsibility for the drugs and said they belonged to him. The husband was placed under arrest and taken back to Ingleside Station, where he was charged and booked for the drug possession. Report Number 130018454.

9:29pm       Kingston/Mission                   Drug Arrest
Officers Campos, Almaguer and Hom were in the area of Mission and Kingston Street watching an individual acting suspicious. They saw this individual from close by as he crossed the street and suddenly stopped in the middle to squat down as if he was looking intently at something. This subject then saw a police car coming down Mission Street, so he ducked even lower and in a type of squat ran up Kingston away from Mission Street. The subject then ran and hid behind a parked vehicle and tossed three packets to the ground. After a moment, the subject went to see if the police car kept driving on and ran back only to hide behind another parked vehicle. Due to the odd behavior, Officer Campos went to confront the subject. Officer Campos went to see what the subject had discarded and found it to be three packets containing methamphetamine. After further investigation, it was revealed that the suspect was on probation and had a vehicle parked close by. The officers found the vehicle and searched the interior. Inside they found a scale, 22 empty baggies and a glass pipe used for smoking drugs in the back seat. The subject was subsequently arrested and charged for the drugs and paraphernalia.
