Arrests:

7:10pm       3300 Blk Mission          Robbery
Officers Burke and Leong responded to a call of a person being assaulted on the 3300 block of Mission Street. Once they arrived, they located two subjects, one of whom had blood on his face and a baseball sized contusion on his right eye, which was almost completely shut. The officers immediately requested medics to the scene. The victim spoke only Spanish and appeared to be intoxicated. Officer Archilla, a Spanish speaking officer, arrived on scene and spoke with the victim, who said the other subject had robbed him of his money. Officers Burke and Leong then spoke to a witness who said that she was walking out to feed the meter when she saw the two men walking down the street. Both men then got into an argument. The victim hit the suspect once and the suspect retaliated by punching and kicking the victim several times. The suspect then went through the victim’s pockets taking his money. With the statements given, the suspect was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station. A computer check on the suspect revealed two outstanding warrants for his arrest as well. The suspect was booked on the robbery charge as well as the outstanding warrants.  Report Number 121035700.

Serious Incidents:

2:55pm       Silver/Mission               Robbery
Officer Hornstein went to investigate a robbery that occurred on the MUNI bus. The victim said she was sitting by the exit door looking down at her Iphone, when the bus stopped at Silver and Mission Street. When the doors opened, a suspect reached over and forcefully grabbed her Iphone. The victim tried to physically regain control of her phone, but the suspect overpowered her and took the phone. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim said that the suspect boarded the bus two stops before he took her phone. Officer Hornstein contacted MUNI and requested a copy of the on board surveillance tape. Unfortunately, the victim’s Iphone could not be tracked. Report Number 121035409.
