3:40pm 300 blk Noe Robbery Arrest
Officer Preston responded to a call that involved a victim who was pepper sprayed by 2 suspects and then robbed. The victim’s iPhone and backpack were stolen. Upon arrival, the suspect was seen with neighbors trying to wash the pepper spray out of his eyes. His jacket was heavily doused with the CS tear gas and it began to affect their breathing. Officers Muro and Duffin then arrived on scene, canvassed the area and were able to find the victim’s backpack and the can of spray that was used, but couldn’t find the phone. Officer Duffin then put on some gloves and bagged the canned of spray. Medics arrived to help the victim flush his face. While finishing the interview with the victim, Officer Preston got a call that there was another robbery not too far away that also involved 2 suspects and pepper spray. This time the suspects got into a car, and witnesses gave the police the license plate number. Officer Preston arrived at the location where the car had last been seen where he arrested a woman, then proceeded to inspect, and tow the car. Another suspect was located, taken into custody and booked at Mission Station. Report Number 120905087 ***Best Arrest of the Day***
7:12pm London/Amazon Robbery Arrest
Officer Tam, along with multiple other units, responded to a call involving a robbery with a knife. Upon arrival, Officer Tam met with the victim who then told him that there were 3 suspects and were last seen going north on the street. Officer Tam noticed 3 subjects who looked like what the victim described. As officer Tam called in to dispatch, the 3 subjects starting acting nervous and distancing themselves from one another. Officer Tam continued to follow the subjects when they split. Officers Chan and Cassinelli then arrived and were able to detain 2 of the subject. The officers proceeded to get a statement from the victim. He told the officers that he was held down and robbed by 2 males, one who had a knife, while another was crossing the street towards them. He then continued to say that they stole his backpack that had a diabetes test machine and his reading glasses, among many other items. The victim then chased the subjects a few blocks before calling the police. The other officers then canvassed the area and found a set of keys that were seen by a witness to have been tossed in a Safeway parking lot. The officers located one of the suspects and took him into custody. One of the officers did an arrest search and found a knife in one of the suspect’s pockets. The victim identified the knife as the one that he was robbed with. The suspects were taken into custody and all evidence was booked at Ingleside Station. Report Number 120905758

2:27 Unit blk Teddy Grow House
Officer Chang responded to a call requesting a check on a premise with its garage open. The caller said that the house had been vacant for a large amount of time, and believed that some people had moved in, but was not sure. The officers then proceeded to check the house, finding that two rooms were locked, with the house scarcely furnished. Upon going upstairs, Officer Chang knocked and after getting no response, entered the room. He located numerous suspected marijuana plants and lamps. A second room found to be the same, with many plants and growing materials. The officers got a search warrant for the other two locked rooms and found even more plants. The plants and equipment were then transported and booked at the narcotics department. Report Number 120904926
9:34pm 100 blk Moffitt Robbery
Officer Benavidez responded to a call involving a robbery with a gun. The victims stated that two males had robbed him with a gun and fled the scene in a green Toyota Camry. The victim said he was approached and the suspects and pointed a black semi automatic in his face where one of them said “give me everything you got!” The victim was afraid and gave them everything from his duffle bag and everything from his pockets. The victim said he could identify them if he should see them again, but no one has been found as of yet. Report Number 120905930
