2:00am       Valencia/Army              Agg. Assault
Officers Seavey and Padilla were dispatched to San Francisco General Hospital to take a report of a stabbing.  They met with the victim who was a Spanish speaker and Officer Carrasco responded to assist in the translation.  The victim told them that he had been drinking at a bar and was walking on Valencia when a male approached him and for no reason slashed his wrist with a knife.  The male then left the area in an unknown direction.  The victim said he would not be able to recognize the suspect if he saw him again.  He provided a vague description of the suspect and the officers searched the area of occurrence to no avail.  Report number 120912402

5:00am       600 Blk Precita             Hot Prowl
Officers Altamirano and Thompson responded to a hot prowl burglary.  They met with the victims who told them that they arrived home and believed they locked all the doors before they went to bed.  Another roommate arrived home a few hours later and noticed the back door was wide open.  When the roommates communicated with each other they found things had been moved around and various items missing. The officers located no sign of forced entry and believed the suspect entered the premise through an unlocked door.  Officers contacted CSI who said they would be responding to process the home.  The officers took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence.  Report number 120916664

8:05pm       Detroit/Monterey          Robbery
Officers Naval and Morrow were on patrol when they were sent to assist the victim of a robbery.  Several other officers responded and canvassed the area for anyone matching a description of the suspects.  The victim said he was walking on Monterey with his laptop in his hand when three suspects approached him, punched him in the face and grabbed his laptop.  The suspects then ran off in a northbound direction.  The victim refused medical assistance and said he would not be able to recognize the suspects.  Officers searched the area for any witnesses and the suspects to no avail.  Report number 120914709

10:30pm     Unit Blk Rolph             Robbery
Officer Giannini responded to SFGH to interview the victim of a robbery.  The victim had visible bruising to his left eye and lacerations on the back of his head.  He told the officers he had been drinking at a bar and walked home.  When he woke up in the morning, he noticed he was bleeding from his head and went to the hospital.  The victim said he did not remember getting into an altercation.  Officers took pictures of his injuries as evidence.  They responded to the location where the victim said he was walking and found no evidence of a crime scene.  They spoke with a clerk at a nearby grocery store and ordered a copy of their surveillance video.  Report number 120915406
