5:30am 600 Blk Moscow Agg. Assault
Officers Carrasco and Dominguez responded to a call of a domestic dispute on the 600 block of Moscow Street. The officers were informed that a male suspect was attacking a female subject out in front of a Green house. The officers arrived and met with a neighbor who stated the subjects involved in the argument went back inside. The neighbor directed them to the correct house. Officer Carrasco and Dominguez went to the house to check on the residents to make sure they were alright and to see if anyone needed any medical attention. As they walked up the stairs they could hear a male and female screaming and engaged in a loud heated argument. The officers noticed that the front iron gate and front door were wide open. Seconds later, the male suspect came out of the house and started yelling at the officers. The male suspect then attempted to slam the iron gate on the officers. Officer Carrasco attempted to place his foot at the front of the iron gate, to prevent the suspect from closing it, but got pushed back and lost his balance. In order to regain his balance, Officer Carrasco grabbed the door frame of the iron gate. The male suspect placed his body weight against the gate, crushing Officer Carrasco’s fingers. Officer Dominguez immediately reacted to help his partner and sprayed the male suspect with his department issued pepper spray. The suspect then ran into the house with Officer Carrasco right behind him. The male suspect slammed the front door on the officer striking him on his shoulder and knee. With officers still in pursuit the suspect was stopped in the living room and taken into custody. SFFD Medics responded and treated Officer Carrasco and the suspect. The suspect was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for assaulting and resisting an officer. These officers worked as a team and were able to apprehend this suspect. One of our officers was injured, but that did not stop him from making sure that this suspect did not hurt anyone else. Report Number 120841124. That is why this is the ***Best Arrest of the Day***

9:57pm San Jose/Ocean Robbery
Officers Padilla and Seavey responded to a call of a robbery with a gun that had just occurred in the area of San Jose and Ocean Avenue. They met with three victims who were just robbed at gun point and appeared to be scared. All three victims told the officers that their smart phones had been stolen, one of which was an Apple iPhone. Officer Seavey immediately pulled up the application, “Find my iPhone”, from his own Iphone, and found an active trace on the victim’s phone. Officer Seavey then broadcasted the suspect’s description and direction of travel. Several Ingleside units responded and began to search the immediate area. Moments later, an Ingleside unit spotted a car driving down Sunnydale Avenue with a driver who matched the description that was provided by all three victims. The units pulled over the vehicle and detained the driver and its front passenger. Officer Seavey then sent an audible sound to the victims Iphone, which was then heard coming from the rear seat of the vehicle. All three victims were brought down to Sunnydale Avenue for a cold show and identified the driver as the one who robbed them at gun point.
