11:22pm     500 blk Carter              DUI/Arrest
Officers Lozano and McCall were dispatched to investigate reports of a possible drunk driver. The officers located the vehicle in question and observed that it was scraping the entrance to an apartment complex.  The front right tire of the vehicle was gone! The vehicle was on the rim. The officers detained the driver and asked him to perform a field sobriety test (FST). The driver of the vehicle was unable to perform the required test and was placed under arrest. The driver was administered a breath test that showed the driver to be 4 ½ times over the legal limit. This dangerous driver was taken off the streets just in time! Officers Lustenberger and Barajas were sent to investigate a call regarding shots fired. The officers were searching the area when they were flagged down by a victim. the victim told the officers  that they heard 5 shots earlier and that when they came out to check they discovered that the window on his car had been shot out. the victim told the officers  that he did not look out so no suspects were observed.  Report Number 120821320
