Arrests:

3:20am       Unit blk Naples            Warrant Arrest
Officer Dominguez responded to a fight between residents. The suspect was intoxicated outside and pounding on the front door. Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded as backup. The officers detained the suspect pounding on the door and ran a computer check. It showed that the suspect had a warrant for a DUI charge. She was transported and booked at the county jail for her DUI warrant. Report number 120620774

11:35pm     4200 blk Mission           Assault/Narcotics Offense
Officer Brown was dispatched to respond to an assault incident at a bar. Numerous other Ingleside Units also responded. As Officer Brown arrived at the scene, the victim flagged down the officer and told him he was stabbed. He lifted up his shirt and revealed he had a puncture wound to his right abdomen. Brown immediately called an ambulance. As Officer Brown was giving first aid, the victim and other witnesses told him that the suspect was still inside the bar. Officers Peregrina, McMilton, Carrasco, and Dominguez arrived to assist and were told of the suspect’s description. The officers attempted to enter the bar, but it was locked. The officers successfully gained entry and searched the bar for the suspect. Officer McMilton found and detained the suspect. Other Ingleside Officers discovered a bloody knife in a trash bin next to the bar. The victim and the witnesses all reiterated the same story; that the suspect approached the victim as he was leaving the bar with his friends. The suspect whispered something in his ear and then stabbed him. The suspect fled inside the bar and locked the doors. As officers were arresting the suspect, a pat down revealed that the suspect had a small bag of cocaine on him. The suspect was transported and booked at Ingleside Station for assault with a weapon and possession of cocaine. Report number 120623411

2:30am       Unit blk Diamond        Recovered License Plate
Officers Baldovino and Ma responded to an intersection regarding a report about a possible stolen vehicle. They found the vehicle stopped and unattended in the middle of the intersection. After doing a search of the license plates, they discovered that both license plates were stolen and belonged to two different vehicles. Officer Ma seized both plates and booked them at Ingleside Station. Report number 120620752


1:25pm       Unit blk Crescent         Theft
Officers Rueca and Elton responded to an incident regarding theft. The victim was walking down the street when the suspect stopped her and asked to borrow her phone. The suspect looked distressed and the victim allowed her to use her phone. She made a phone call and got no answer. The suspected returned the phone and then asked to make one more call. The victim allowed the suspect to use her phone one more time. However, this time she ran off with the victim’s phone. The victim chased and screamed at the suspect to stop but was not able to catch her. Report number 120621766

3:59pm       Geneva/Mission           Threatening Call
The victim came to Ingleside Station to report a threatening call made to him. Officer Cavanaugh took the report. The victim stated that while cleaning the sidewalks, he received a restricted call on his phone and the unknown male suspect made a threatening call and threatened to cause bodily harm. The victim did not recognize the voice, and stated he is not having any problems with anybody in the area. Report number 120623057

9:00pm       300 blk Franconia      Theft
Officer Curry was dispatched to a vehicle that had its trunk open and contained loose unused bullets inside. Curry inspected the vehicle and found the left rear passenger window broken and the trunk wide open. There were several bullets used in rifles scattered around in the trunk. Officer Curry also found a handgun in the open trunk. After inspecting the vehicle, a man came outside and told the officer that the vehicle belonged to him. He told Curry that he recently went on a hunting trip with his father and forgot to take out all the guns and ammunition. The owner told him there was also a rifle in the car. Officer Curry ran a computer check of the car and guns and it revealed that the guns and the car were not stolen and had the proper serial numbers. However, for the shattered window, someone had broken into his car and stolen a bag containing several sex toys and work related items. Officer Curry advised the owner how to properly store his firearms and booked photos of the incident at Ingleside Station. Report number 120623944

10:15pm     100 blk Appleton        Shooting
Officers Dominguez and Carrasco responded to a call regarding a shooting. Officers McMilton and Peregrina were already on the scene. Someone had fired three shots towards a home. A window was shattered by one of the bullets, and there were other bullet holes inside the home. Luckily, no one was harmed during the shooting. Officer Carrasco searched the home and found the bullet casings. The scene was photographed and all evidence was booked at Ingleside Station. Report number 120623267
