Arrests:

12:57pm     700 blk Edinburgh       Stolen Vehicle
Officer Bernard and several other Ingleside officers responded to an incident regarding a stolen vehicle. An SFDPT officer was patrolling the area looking for parking violations when he noticed a truck blocking a driveway. He was in the act of writing a citation when his handheld device notified him that the car was stolen. The DPT officer advised dispatch to notify the police. The “owner” of the truck came out and told officers that he recently bought the car. He provided documentation of the purchase of the vehicle. Officer Bernard transported the suspect to Ingleside Station and contacted the original owner of the vehicle and learned that she never filed or signed any documents selling the truck nor knows the suspect. The suspect was later charged for possession of stolen property and booked at Ingleside Station. the case is under investigation as to the suspects story. Report number 120596078

7:13pm       3600 blk Mission          Warrant Arrest
Sergeant Lozada was patrolling in the area when he noticed a suspect wearing gang related apparel. Sergeant Lozada requested another unit and Sergeant McDevitt responded. The two decided to talk with the suspect. Sergeant Lozada asked if he was on probation in which he replied “yes”. Sergeant Lozada exercised the probation search condition and searched him. Sergeant McDevitt conducted a computer check and found out that the suspect had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The suspect was transported to Ingleside Station and booked. 8:24pm       Unit blk Theresa           Battery/Robbery
Officers Cassinelli and Archilla responded to investigate a robbery incident. The officers located the victim and broadcast the suspects description. The victim told the officers that he was walking down the street when he was approached by four suspects. The suspects pushed the victim up against a wall and demanded all his property. The victim had no property on him that is when one of the suspects took out a gun. The victim grabbed the gun and a struggle ensued for possession. The victim told the officers that one of the other suspects punched in the face. The suspect with the gun, pistol whipped the victim and caused a gash to his right eye. The SFFD paramedics responded and treated the victim for several lacerations to the face and his swollen eye. The victim gave officers, when they arrived, the descriptions of the suspect who then broadcasted the information for other units. Sergeant Lozada saw a suspect fitting the description and detained him. A cold show of the suspect resulted in the positive identification of the suspect. The suspect was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for robbery. Because of the fast actions of the responding officers in broadcasting the descriptions and the tenacity of responding officers in their search for suspects, this suspect is behind bars! Officers Park and Chang responded to an incident regarding vandalism case. The lock to a front gate was tampered with which left it inoperable. The victims told the officers that they left earlier in the day and observed that the lock was not damaged. When they returned found that someone had damaged their front gate. 6:00am   Ingleside Station    Possession of Explosive devices
A citizen turned over a box full of fireworks and wanted them to be destroyed. Officer Curry notified the proper unit and was told that the fireworks would be destroyed at a later time. Report number 120615430


7:30am       400 blk Campbell         Burglary
Officers Larocca and Muro were dispatched to an incident regarding a burglary. An unknown suspect had broken into the victim’s garage and stolen numerous items. The victim told officers that when he left his home, he had a combination lock on his garage door and that when he returned the lock was missing and his garage empty. The items the suspect stole included several bikes and firearms. Report number 120616319

11:10am     100 blk Park                 Burglary
Officers Rueca and Elton responded to investigate a burglary incident. The victim told the officers that when he got home discovered that his home was ransacked and property missing. The point of entry was a small window on the front door. The loss included computers and jewelry. Officer Elton took photos of the scene and booked them at Ingleside Station. Officer Rueca notified CSI that respond to process the scene. Report number 120616234

2:45pm       3300 blk Mission           Theft
Officer Duffin was dispatched to a theft case. A store employee at a clothing store noticed a woman with several new shirts with no tags on them. She asked the customer if she had a receipt for the shirts in which she said no. She responded that she had bought the shirts earlier and came in for something else. The employee took the suspected stolen shirts from the woman. Five minutes later, a man came in and asked the employee where his were missing shirts referring to the previous shirts from the woman. The employee told him that the woman didn’t have a receipt and took them back. The man then made a threatening statement to the employee and told her to watch herself after work. The employee was nervous to leave and notified the police. Officer Duffin escorted the employee to the bus stop after she left the store. Report number 120616488

4:00pm       100 blk Red Rock         Burglary
Officer Morgante responded to a burglary incident. The victim told the officer that an unknown suspect had attempted to break into his building twice. Officer Morgante examined the damaged locks and concluded that the suspects’ attempts were unsuccessful. The officer took photos of the damaged locks and booked them as evidence at Ingleside Station. 10:30pm     300 blk Morse               Theft
Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a theft. The victim recently installed surveillance cameras at his home because of burglaries in the area so he regularly views the footage. The victim noticed that someone stole one his cameras that was not easily seen from the street. The surveillance camera did not capture the theft and wanted this incident for documentation purposes.
