0:12am 200 Blk Italy Warrant
Officer Pereira and Cassinelli were on patrol looking for a vehicle involved in a shooting that had occurred in the Taraval district. The officers spotted a vehicle matching the description from the incident. The officers pulled the vehicle over using great caution, and detained three occupants. All suspects were identified pending further investigation. Two were released from the scene and the third was taken into custody after a record check revealed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Report number 120684924
12:05pm 100 Blk Brookdale Disturbing the Peace
Officers Trail, Peregoy and Barajas responded to the report of a physical fight. One of the subjects involved was reportedly in possession of a gun. Officers Tam and Ng responded as well, and had to physically pull the two suspects away from each other in order to stop the fight. The officers witnessed the suspects physically assault each other. Two subjects who witnessed the incident intervened verbally as well, and encouraged the two suspects to fight. The officers had prior police contact with both subjects, and they were admonished for their actions. Both suspects were arrested for disturbing the peace, and were released pending their court date. 4:00pm 50 Phelan Warrant
SFCCPD Officer Burlyga was on patrol when he spotted a suspect in an area where subjects commonly gather to smoke marijuana. As the officer approached, he noticed the suspect was holding a glass pipe and exhaled smoke from his mouth. The officer asked the suspect if he was smoking marijuana, and he admitted that he was. The suspect also admitted to possessing more marijuana in his bag, and that he did not have a medical marijuana card. A records check of the suspect revealed that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The officer advised the suspect on smoking and arrested him for the warrant. Report number 120683647
4:20pm Unit Blk Ocean Fraud
Officer Hornstein was dispatched to a report of a fraud in progress. The officer arrived and contacted the suspect, who was standing at a teller. The suspect appeared to be anxious and was sweating profusely. The teller told the officers that she became suspicious of the check because previous fraudulent checks had been written on the same account. The officers contacted the issuer of the check, who confirmed the check to be missing and fraudulent. The officers took the suspect into custody and seized the check to be booked as evidence.
While in custody, the suspect complained of medical issues and was transported to the hospital. The booking charges were approved for the suspect to be booked after medical clearance. Report number 120683681

3:30am 500 Blk Geneva Robbery
A victim came to Ingleside station and told PSA Cato that he was standing in a MUNI shelter area when two males approached him, brandished a handgun and told him to “Give them everything.” The victim said he was scared and allowed the suspects to rummage through his pockets. The suspects emptied his pockets and fled down San Jose. The victim said he was not injured and refused medical assistance. He said he would not be able to identify the suspects if he saw them again. 4:30am 1000 Blk Tompkins Robbery
Officers Archilla and Chan were dispatched to a robbery with a gun. The victim was Spanish speaking and Officer Archilla assisted in the translation. The victim said she was standing in front of her car when she was approached by three males who simulated a gun and told her, “Give me everything you got.” The victim stood still and the suspects emptied her pockets. They then fled in an unknown direction. She did not know if she would be able to identify the suspects. Report number 120684128
5:06am Bosworth/I-280 Robbery
Officer Crispin was sent to a robbery with a gun near the Glen Park BART Station. The victim said he was walking down Bosworth when he felt someone following him. Two males then stopped him, pointed a handgun at his face, racked the slide and told him, “Give me everything.” The victim was placed on his knees and the suspects emptied his pockets. They then pushed him onto the ground and fled down Bosworth. The victim said he might be able to identify the suspect with the gun if he saw him again. The victim was not injured. Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects and were unable to locate any surveillance cameras nearby. Report number 120682053
9:15am 50 Phelan Burglary
SFCCPD Officer Hakes was dispatched to a burglary. The reportee stated that when he tried to open the door to the office he noticed the locking mechanism was loose. He entered the office and found several items missing. There was no suspect information. Report number 120682564
12:30pm Unit Blk Stoneyford Burglary
Officers Rouede and Gonzalez responded to an attempted burglary. The victim stated that he arrived home to find the lock to the gate which enters the home area damaged. The victim had repaired the lock prior to calling the police, but wanted the incident documented. He said no entry was made and no items were missing. Report number 120684322
4:20pm 50 Phelan Theft
SFCCPD Officer Chang was sent to investigate a theft. He met with the victim who said that he plugged his cellular phone into the wall to charge it and left the room for a few minutes. When he returned, the cellular phone and adapter were missing. He was unable to provide any further information. Report number 120669603
