Arrests:

4:01am       Bayshore/Marin            Warrant
Officers Padilla and Seavey were on patrol when they observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed with expired registration and a failed tail lamp.  The officers affected a traffic stop and a record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended.  There were numerous other occupants in the vehicle.  Two of the occupants in the vehicle had active warrants and they were taken into custody.  The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license and released.  Report Number 120678074

4:50pm       Battery                          Battery
Officers Rouede and Pereira were sent to investigate a battery.  They met with the victim who told them that he was walking down the street when suddenly a male approached him, slapped him without provocation, and said, “Go ahead.  Call the police.”  The victim provided a description of the suspect and officers detained a male matching the description.  A cold show was performed where the victim positively identified the suspect as the one who slapped him.  The victim signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was taken into custody.  A record check revealed an outstanding warrant and the suspect was therefore booked at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120678121

6:45pm       Geneva/Athens              Agg. Assault
Officers Chan and Archilla were on patrol when they observed a suspicious male and his companion jaywalking.  The officers exited their vehicle and the suspects began running.  One of the suspects threw a black backpack he was carrying.  The officers gave chase and were able to catch up and detain the suspects.

One of the suspects admitted that the backpack was his and began resisting with the officers who were trying to handcuff him.  After a short struggle, the officers were able to handcuff him.  The other suspect was cooperative.  A record check revealed no warrants for either suspect.  One of the suspects was cited for the traffic violation and released.

The other suspect remained at the scene.  A search of his backpack located a plastic baggy containing a white substance believed to be methamphetamine.  An arrest search located a stun gun on his person.  He was transported to Ingleside station and booked for possession of narcotics and the stun gun.  Report Number 120678507
