Arrests:

3:34pm                1500 Blk Sunnydale               Warrant
Officers Hart, Phillips and Obot were patrolling the Sunnydale area when they noticed a male who they recognized from previous encounters. The officers ran a computer check and found out that the male had an outstanding warrant. They arrested the male and he was booked at the County Jail upon confirmation of the warrant.  Report 110541431

3:35pm                600 Blk Chenery St.               Burglary
Officers Suguitan and Fung responded to a call regarding a theft.  The victim said that she had left her purse open in the coffee shop and when she returned noticed items were missing.  She provided a description of a male she noticed lurking around the shop and promptly leaving.  Citizens in the area pointed to where the suspect had been seen running. The officers searched the area and detained a male matching the suspect description.  A cold show was performed and the suspect was positively identified by the victim as the male who had been in the coffee shop.  The suspect was mirandized and admitted to taking the items.  He was arrested and the stolen items were recovered and returned to their owner.  All parties were provided with follow up information.  Report 120455537

5:05pm                Alemany Blvd                         Burglary
Officer Naval was patrolling when he noticed a car with what appeared to be expired registration tags.  He affected a traffic stop and the driver explained that it was not his vehicle. Officer Naval then discovered the tags were, in fact, expired and the driver was driving on a suspended license.  He took the driver into custody.  The license plate was booked into evidence at Ingleside Station and the vehicle was towed to Auto Return.  Follow-up information was given.  Report 120455753

7:04pm                200 Blk Blythdale                  Warrant
Officers Hart, Phillips and Sergeant McDevitt were on patrol when they observed a suspect who they believed had an outstanding warrant.  The officers confirmed his identity and the warrant.  At the suggestion of Sergeant Kasper, the suspect was booked into custody and questioned at Ingleside Station.  Report 110423265

12:05am              300 Blk Alemany                    Battery
Officers Hauscarriague and Dominguez responded to a call of battery. They met a male who initially claimed that he fell and hit his head, but later advised that he was assaulted. The victim refused assistance and no further action was taken.  Report 120454131

12:46am              Cortland St.                             Robbery
Officers Milton and Peregrina were on patrol and were flagged down by a female citizen who only spoke Spanish. Back up was called to assist in communication. The victim advised that she was at a nightclub with her friend who was dancing with a male whose name she did not know.  She went to use the restroom and when she returned the male told her that her friend had crossed the street. The male offered to take the victim to where her friend was. He then stole the victim’s jewelry and ran down the street. The officers attempted to collect video surveillance tapes from the nightclub to use as evidence.  Follow-up information was given.  A search of the area for the suspect was negative.  Report 120454175

8:50pm                500 Blk Alemany                    Robbery
Officer Morrow responded to a call of robbery and spoke with an injured victim who advised that he had been approached by two males who demanded his wallet and threatened to shoot him. When the victim refused, the suspects hit him in the face multiple times. One of the suspects took the victim’s keys out of his pocket and the other took the bag that the victim was carrying. The bag was later discovered on the ground and booked into evidence at Ingleside Station.  The victim’s injuries were photographed and also booked into evidence.  The victim refused medical assistance.  Report 120454614

10:06am              Unit Blk Peralta Av.               Auto Boost
Officer Frisk responded to an auto boost.  A witness stated that he observed a male walking around vehicles on the block.  The male suddenly smashed a window to one of the vehicles, removed several items, and boarded another vehicle which sped off down the street.  The witness provided the officer with the license plate number and a record check revealed the vehicle was stolen.  The witness said he could identify the suspect if he saw him again.

Officer Frisk contacted the owner of the damaged vehicle and she responded to the scene.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report 120454670

7:00pm                Unit Blk Cambridge              Vandalism
Officers Lustenberger and Benavidez were sent to investigate a vehicle vandalism.  They spoke with the reportee who advised that he locked and secured his vehicle and later found various windows smashed and the interior vandalized.  He was unable to provide any suspect information and was given follow up information.  The officers took pictures of the damage to the vehicle for evidence.  Report 120456080

9:00pm                200 Blk Coleridge                  Auto Boost
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Heckenberg that he locked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found a window smashed and several items missing.  He was unable to provide any further information.  The victim did not bring the vehicle to the station and the PSA was therefore not able to print the vehicle for fingerprint evidence.  Report 120454551

9:30pm                800 Blk San Jose                    Theft
Officers Chew and Lim met with the victim of a bicycle theft.  He told the officers his bicycle had been taken from inside a locked gate which leads to his building.  There was no sign of forced entry to the premises and he was unable to provide any suspect information.  He was provided with follow up information.  Report 120455258
