Arrests:

1:35pm       Mission/30th                   Battery
Officers Lim and Chew were dispatched to a battery.  A woman advised that she was standing on the corner when a truck stopped at a red light.  A male passenger suddenly threw a beer can which hit her in the face.  She provided the officers with a description of the truck and the license plate number.  The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance.  She stood by while the officers did a record check on the vehicle.  They responded to the address where the vehicle was registered and the tenants provided them with the truck owner’s cellular number.  They made contact with him and he agreed to meet the officers.

When the driver arrived, a male passenger matching the suspect description was in the truck.  A record check of the passenger returned positive for several outstanding warrants.  The officers then contacted the victim and advised that they had a male detained for the battery.  The victim said she had left the scene, and did not wish any further police action.  The suspect was transported to Ingleside station where he was booked for the warrants after they were confirmed.  Report Number 120276979
